On the first day of trout, we thought we were well prepared for any situation. However, the stren line we had put on our rods broke every trout we caught. We had 2 extra packs of 4 lb. test, so we changed the line. We were unable to even tie it on the reel. Every time we tried to tie a knot, the line would snap in our hands. I was very disappointed. That can ruin a day. Was the line new? I have never had that problem with Stren unless it had been sitting in the sun or was very old.
